“XXX”

Inspired by the year anniversary of my trip to Amsterdam in 2017, I wanted to something to remember the best week ever. My cousin took me to ‘Dam; it was quite the experience. I wanted to make a collage of some of our activities from a unique perspective. Symbols include:

• “XXX” on the lamppost, the flag of the city
• Boat name (29.03.17, the date of the trip)
• Bicycle
• Flowers everywhere
• Boat & canal from the tour we did
• The Bulldog Coffeeshop
• “Anco Hotel,” where we stayed
• Peep Show, the Red Light District
• Brazillian Steakhouse (a random staple of the city)

I used a rainbow of watercolors to recreate the gorgeous sunsets. Micron pens were used for everything else.

This project was long and tedious, and it probably took me close to 4 months of on-and-off working.
